Recipe of the Week: September 17 - 23, 2001

Ingredients: Directions:
1 round steak, tenderized and cubed
1 jar green olives (small)
1 onion, sliced
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. flour
1 c. salsa
4-5 potatoes, cut and peeled
dash of each: garlic salt, lemon
pepper and any other seasonings you like.
    Cut steak, dip in flour.  Brown.
    Add olives & olive juice, onion, potatoes, celery and salsa.   Cover, reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are done.
    The slower and the longer you cook it, the more tender the meat gets.   Serves well over rice.  This is also great cooked  in the crockpot.
