Class Descriptions

TAP

A dance in which the rhythm or rhythmical variation is tapped out with the toe or heel wearing shoes with hard soles and taps.

JAZZ

Jazz dance is a combination of classical ballet moves mixed with steps from American popular culture. Jazz dance was designed to entertain with basic showy steps.

HIP HOP

Refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music.

CLOGGING

Is a type of folk dance where the dancer percussively strikes the heel, the toe or both against the floor to create audible rhythms, usually to the downbeat with the heel keeping the rhythm.

BALLET

A classical dance form demanding grace and precision and flowing patterns to create expression through movement.
